This is the "Paris Cowl" that fits on both the RC Boat Wks F-41 Stryker Cat, and F-43 Stryker Hydro. It looks to be and improvement over the standard Stryker Cowl, in terms of better aerodynamic flow. The smaller front air scoop is lower and traps less air. This was a problem with the original cowl, as the larger air scoop trapped to much air and acted like an air dam. This cowl is more streamlined, due to it's lower profile and slants back to provide less air drag. I think the rear turbine is to long for the Stryker CAT, and should be cut back to near the edge of the transom. The long turbine is for the Stryker Hydro. I suspect that both the Stryker Cat & Hydro, will run faster, with better stability. Especially improved down force at the nose, helping to prevent blow-off's.
