Stryker Cats (Cut Cowl)

I
first experimented with the Cut Windshield Cowl during 1998, to help solve
high speed blow offs. After several lengths,
I discovered this short cowl didn't compromise top speed. It held the nose
down at high speed, kept a horiz. ride attitude and improved turning,
while offering some protection to the engine. I've ran 72>74mph with
these 35QD/Stryker Cats. Without the windshield cowls, I may have blown-off
at these speeds. Speed loss with the full cowl can be up to
5mph.
