_____The 1992 500SL Trade-In_____ I bought this back in 1992 a new black/gray 500SL, price in 1992 ($111,000). I traded it in with only 35k miles. (showroom condition) looked brand new, rarely saw rain and never driven during snow. The 92 500SL's 5.0 liter 32 valve twin overhead cam V8 developed 305HP.This car sold the next day for ($40,000), someone got a beautiful car in perfect condition. I traded it in for the 2005 Silver SL500 AMG. One year later I traded the Silver SL500 for the new 2006 Black AMG SL600 V12 (600+HP) (Top pic).
